What’s Going on with New Job Opportunities for India
Sunday January 11, 2014 I heard about an event in Vibrant Gujrat Summit. The event was on every new channel in the leading news papers with lot of announcements and deals coming for India (if assumed the announcements made are true and going to work out as planned). Here is a small overview of what may happen as the impact of this event.
Let us start with the Announcements made
Reliance Industries is going to invest 100000 crore in next 12 to 18 months
Adani Enterprises, SunEdison to invest Rs 25,000 crore in Gujarat
Lot of focus on development on Energy sector and Infrastructure in India
Focus on government’s “Make in India†initiative.
Bharat Forge has signed an MoU worth Rs 600 crore for defence
Rail Vikas Nigam signed a Rs 1,655-crore MoU with Gujarat Industrial Development Board (GIDB) for developing a regional rail network system for Ahmedabad.
50,446 crore signed between the Gujarat government and corporates. They ranged from sectors like chemicals, fertilizers, agro and food processing, defense manufacturing, urban infrastructure and engineering
To summarize, Gujrat is going to get investments worth Rs 10 lakh crore from corporates, medium and small scale industries on Day One of the Vibrant Gujarat summit. Over 15,000 agreements were inked on the first day. All this is not only good for Gujrat but also for our country.
New Job Opportunities
People who do not trust existing government, let’s leave government commitments aside and think about businesses who have made announcements and we can trust them as this is directly related to profit making.
If one small company gets started there are many other who earn because of that. We can expect 20,000 jobs in energy sector only if economic times report to be trusted. Solar power is going to create 4,500 direct and 15,000 indirect jobs (including vendors and other related suppliers).
Along with this Maruti is about to start their plants as work in already in progress and there are other companies already constructing new factories ultimately going to create many more job opportunities for our country.
Imagine if government supports these activities and does what is required.
